How to Set Up Your Little Bottle Sip Kit

Quick answer

To set up your Little Bottle Sip Kit, first wash all parts, then insert the silicone straw through the straw cap, and finally attach the straw cap to your bkr glass bottle.

Step-by-step setup

1. 1. Wash all parts: Hand wash the glass bottle, silicone sleeve, straw, and straw cap with warm soapy water. Rinse thoroughly and let dry completely. Residue or moisture can cause mold or affect the seal. Dry parts fully before assembly.
2. 2. Insert the straw into the straw cap: Push the silicone straw through the straw cap from the bottom until the cap sits flush against the straw. The cap should not slide freely. If the cap is loose, the straw may slip out during use. Ensure a snug fit.
3. 3. Attach the straw cap to the bottle: Remove the original bottle cap and screw the straw cap onto the bottle neck. Tighten until it feels secure, but do not overtighten. Overtightening can damage the glass threads or cause the cap to crack. Hand-tighten only.
4. 4. Check the straw length and position: The straw should reach the bottom of the bottle without bending or buckling. If it's too long, trim a small amount from the bottom. A buckled straw reduces flow and can cause splashing. Trim only if necessary.
5. 5. Test for leaks: Fill the bottle with water, close the straw cap, and tilt it sideways. Check for drips around the cap and straw opening. If leaks occur, recheck the cap tightness and straw seal. Do not use until leak-free.
