Quick Answer
To personalize your water bottle with sticker sheets, stick them directly onto the glass, not the silicone sleeve, and hand wash gently to keep them looking fresh.
Why Stick to Glass, Not the Sleeve
The stickers from bkr are designed to adhere to the glass surface of your bottle. The silicone sleeve is flexible and textured, which can prevent stickers from sticking well and may cause them to peel off over time.
If you want to see your stickers clearly, consider a Frost bottle—it's translucent like frosted glass, so the stickers show through beautifully. This is why bkr made Frost sizes in 1L, 500 mL, and 250 mL.
How to Apply Sticker Sheets to Your Water Bottle
- Clean the glass surface: Wash your bottle with soap and water, then dry it completely. Any residue or moisture can prevent the sticker from adhering properly. A clean, dry surface is essential for a long-lasting sticker.
- Peel the sticker carefully: Gently peel the sticker from the sheet, avoiding creases or folds. If it curls, press it back down and try again. Handle the sticker by its edges to keep it flat.
- Position and apply: Place the sticker on the glass, not the silicone sleeve. Start from one edge and press down smoothly to avoid air bubbles. Use a soft cloth to smooth out any bubbles as you go.
- Hand wash gently: When cleaning your bottle, hand wash the sticker area gently with mild soap and water. Avoid scrubbing or using abrasive materials. Stickers are not permanent—handle them with care to extend their life.
